The game is out in Germany and it's been getting pretty good reviews and the graphics seem to awesome. Think Crysis but for a 3rd person point and click adventure game:

Heh, not really. Backgrounds are pre-rendered. Still a fantastic looking game and a very good sci-fi adventure.

Looks pretty amazing, but as I do with all adventure games these days I want to see some reviews first (in english)

I have it laying around here and never installed it (I routinely buy almost every new adventure game that gets released). Probably should try it some day, since I used to read the Perry Rhodan books (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perry_Rhodan) for many years.

Um...yeah. Technically speaking that's what I was getting at. Beautiful looking graphics, except it's pre-rendered. Besides the game is playable on GeForce 3 cards.

One of the best parts of adventure games.

Yup. On top of that the games supports the shader functions of GeForce 6600 as well.

The story seems pretty cool. I'll check it out if there's a demo.

Looks pretty sweet, wouldn't mind giving it a go if there's a demo.

I really need a credit card...
Still reading Perry Rhodan btw, but too slow, there's a new one each week and I am 20 years behind in reading :censored:
I started at part 1 and am now at part 911 or something, and I've probably been reading the series for the past 15 years

I'd like to think it worked well for the early Resident Evil games. :p

Overclocked used a combination of pre-rendered and realtime elements, almost seamlessly (though I wish they never zoomed as it shows how fake some elements are)

Haven't looked into the story at all, but when i looked at some screens the first thing i thought was, "Cool, they remade Beneath a Steel Sky". :)

I ordered it for the hell of it. :D Except I also ordered a bunch of other games, not sure which I'll play first.

I probably will, as I'm very interested in whether it plays as good as it looks. :D

It does. :)
The only thing I'm worried about is, if they managed to get some good voice-actors for the english version.

Three problems already
-The game knows I'm using a widescreen monitor and pillarboxes. I didn't ask for this feature and it's unwanted....I would rather it stretch. It should not pillarbox without asking and I cannot seem to disable this. Also the scaler used makes the font look a little goofy. It's running native by itself with no way to change this. How odd.
-AA refuses to enable, even when forced in the control panel. This results in a very jaggy character. How do I fix this? I had the same problem with Tunguska and never solved it.
-Theres an odd invisible box around my cursor. I can see a line at the bottom and in certain shades I can make out the whole box. Whats the deal with that?
EDIT - Solved two of the three, by reducing AA to 8x. Still jagged, but not as bad and the cursor fixed itself.

Hmm having a tough time getting into this one. It's pretty yes, but I have no frame of reference for the story. Perry keeps naming off people I'm supposed to have long standing feelings for. Which I don't.
It took me about an hour or so to figure out where the shit I was supposed to go in the FIRST area. Turns out theres an obscure exit on the left side of the first screen. Theres an entire topic dedicated to this stupid decision on their forum. Wow.
Right now I'm in some academy talking to pizza headed aliens and wondering where to go. I hope this gets better, as right now I'm really disconnected from the story (or should I say backstory) and the interface is driving me up the wall.
