Could someone please answer these questions in LITERALLY simplest terms possible:

1. Sometimes I try to add a brush and when I move it, it will skip several spaces when I try to move it as slightly as possible and I can't get it exactly where I want. What can I do about this problem?

2. Where can I download extra actor decorations for use in UnrealEd? How exactly do I do this?

3. If I see a picture online and I want to use it as a texture, exactly how can I get it into my level?

4. Where are the best tutorials?

5. How can I modify brushes so they are the exact shape I want? How do I move the corners so they form the shape I want?

6. Where can I get textures off the Internet quickly and for free? I am looking for urban textures, gritty ones would be nice, but I'll take any. Where are the best free texture sites? I tried to get textures off the undulation site, but when I click to get the textures, they just won't respond. How can I get this to work?

7. How do I make a curved wall?

If someone could answer any of these questions, I'd really appreciate it!!!

1. Your grid snap distance is too big. Go to VIEW/ADVANCED OPTIONS and a dialoge box will pop up. Press the + next to the word Editor then the + next to the word grid. Change the snap distance to .5

2. go to my website and download prefabs, you can also get them from the prefab lab, there is a link to them on my page as well. There are also brief instructions on how to get them in the game. The link is on my sig.

3. Select the picture you want to use and take it into photoshop. The picture needs to be sized based on the powers of 2. Meaning the image should be 256x256, 512x512, 512x256. As long as you use 32,64,128,256,512,1024 ect. your in good shape. save it as a bmp or tga file, then just import them into the editor.

4. Unreal Wikki!

5. Use the edit vertex tool. the dot with an arrow pointing up and right. Hold down CTRL+Alt to select the vertices you want, then hold CTRL and move those verticies.

6. Google.com or Ebay.com

7. 2D Shaper, the triangle on the top toolbar. See Wikki for more info.

4. - Leveldesigner.com also has some very nice tutorials. They're a reincarnation of the old unrealed.exe, where I used to find all my UT mapping info, so I say go check em out!
