1) Are there any download-able tutorials for UnrealEd 3.0, similar to the UnrealEd Reference Collection for UnrealEd 1/2?
2) Static meshes: When two static meshes touch or overlap, is it necessary to De-intersect them in some way? (I've noticed in several maps that they seem to join seamlessly.)

I don't know about downloadable tutorials, but unreal Wikki is a big help.
As far as static meshes, there's no real way to de-intersect them. When they join seamlessly like that, it's by design. Keeping things on the grid is a big help.

Check 3D Buzz for some cool Unreal video tutorials. It's good stuff I hear.

I'm sure you probably know about this, but you could save the HTML page down to the hard drive. Of course they don't always print out right, but it's another option. images/icons/smile.gif

Sup boss,

I learned to map off of his tutorials. Several people made Word and PDF documents out of his HTML Version. I didn't see them on his site, but they do have download links within the above thread for the PDF and Word versions.
