Ok, I am nearly done with my map.

Here is what I did.

I made the a map that will basically have a fortress then an outdoor area and then another fortress on the other side.

Now, I have some terrain in the basement of one of the fortresses and when i duplicated the fortress and rotated it 180 degrees, the only thing that did not rotate correctly was the terrain.

It sems to fortunately be using the same terrain map I made for the first fortress. However, I wanna find out is it possible to flip the Terrain Sprite or the terrain map itself, OR create a second terrain zone based off of the 1st one and then flip it 180 degrees somehow?

I can redo the terrain if I have to, but the terrain is already made and just needs to be rotated 180 degrees. images/icons/frown.gif I'd hate to have to spend a few hours redoing it for the other fortresses basement. images/icons/frown.gif

I basically just need to do a horizontal flip, I think, but I don't know if I can flip the terrain around or not. images/icons/frown.gif I am not talking about upside down, just merely rotating the terrain across the horizontal axis.

( sorry for any typos, if any. Been workin on the map for a few hours and can't see straight. images/icons/blush.gif I will try to upload the map so people can check it out later )

EDIT: well, unless they miraculously put it in somewhere, I honestly don't think I can. I just got done searching the UT2k3 editing forum and found this:

http://www.ina-community.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=230268&highlight=g16+editor

and a utility that allows the rotation of the heightmap:

Gonna try it tomorrow and let ya know if it works. Seems like it will, though.

Update:

I tried that G16ed program and it kicks ass! \o/

I was able to rotate the terrain with it. I really hope they include terrain rotation in the next release of UED ( ut2k4 ).
