I just started reading this hilarious thread of quasi-modernistic cyber-dada, and must say I am very impressed. There is hope for the world.

Since I and many others of you maniacs are out here to have fun while waiting for DNF, I just got this idea:

Since I am used to build a lot of unreal maps back then, I plan to do the same with DNF. The best pictures could be used in a special DNF Ted Turner Level. Only with the creators permission, of course. Ted could be on huge outdoor signs, ads, in a gallery indoor and an animation on a movie-screen. I already got a layout for a realistic movie-theatre map I want to build.
I know everything about unreal mapping and textures, so that should be an easy deal. It just came to my mind. Well, if you people like the idea, remind me when the game is out! It's called conceptual continuity. Surrealism is funny.
Keep it up! Maybe we'll meet in the a dukematch one day. And you can kick my ass there, Rolling Brass. images/icons/grin.gif

BTW, if 3DR don't want to offend Ted or anything like that, (is that ugly grin copyrighted?)

Damn.....I created a Turner-ized pic here at college, and I tried to access Homestead to post it on my webspace, but the Homestead page building thingy isn't compatible with Macintosh images/icons/frown.gif . I had to get used to using a mouse with a ball in Photoshop, instead of my uber-leet optical mouse, too. images/icons/tongue.gif
When I get home, I'll try to recreate it.
My efforts were worth it, however, when some students around me were asking what the hell I was doing when they saw my work in progress. images/icons/grin.gif

About a week ago a friend and i were at "staples"(an office supply store). We kept asking them where they would have a red swingline stapler, then where they could order one from. I only read a few threads in the Comedy Goldmine before it got pruned. After a while, this thread reminded me of the Photoshop threads on the SA Forums (and, specifically, what was done to a picture of a fat guy diving off a board, also seen on fatchicksinpartyhats.com, in a thread of that nature). It was a hilarious thread, and I thought I'd reference it and create an homage.
Hmmm....I didn't know that this would get SA forum members' dander up. I credited the idea to SA (since, as stated before, the original thread disappeared and I couldn't find the name of the poster who started that thread). It seems like this thread is not going to make it to a Part 2 and will be retired to the archives shortly. If any SA members are reading this, I apologize. If you see this as desecration of your forums, then you won't see any more from me in any way, shape or form.
