a very strange thing keeps occuring on

Part III Chapter VI

Basically, I make my way down some stairs on the other side of the building, and I keep hearing continous gunfire. When I reach the landing on the stairs, I can see muzzle flash, but no people firing but I can still get hit. It appears that the people firing are behind the wall.
Furthermore, when I go into the room with the large screen on the wall and the table with a laptop on it. Basically, when I walk through the door next to the screen, everything goes dark, and a cutscene starts. but then I suddenly see myself getting shot by some Feds. While the normal death sequence occurs with the camera panning around Max, i can clearly see a hall of mirrors effect (clipping)

when I first go through that door, as the screen fades, I can see a large door or window at the bottom of (I think it's) a hall

Any help would be appreciated

You could try running MP in developer mode (startup max.exe -developer).
With F12 you can view the console screen see if it gives any errors, and post them.
Also make some screen prints from the firing. Might be fun to have them in the future.

Ok will do
I sorted out the problem, by just enabling god mode. The screen went red (as though I'd been hit) and then the cutscene with the FBI agents coming in started up (the reception area)
