requires a directx 8 compatible display adapter
okay.. heres the deal.. i installed the game.. and the patch...
im running windows ME, 256 MB ram, 866 Mhz, and intel 82810E graphics card ...
i already updated the cards drivers form intels website... according to them.. it is directx 8 compatible ...why do i keep getting this message?? ... is there anything i can do ?

I had loads of problems with WinME. In the end I installed it on my Windows 2000 partition because I just couldn't get it to work.
Not much help to you, I know, but it was the only way I could get it to work...

so it might not be my card ??
..cause im thinking of returning the game... and either waiting till i upgrade this thing... or for one of the game machine versions ...
..too bad.. this game looks so rad .. .

Sadly, your card is an onboard card and those are pretty cheesy by today's standards in that they rob your system of valuable RAM instead of supplying it's own as do quality cards.. Been through it long ago with an Intel Graphics driver.. Sorry, but they.... suck..
If your mobo has an AGP slot, I would look towards upgrading that as soon as you can.. Your gaming experience can only improve because of it..

yeah they suck man no offense. you can get a pretty good 3d accelerator for $50. I got my v3 for $60. one of my older pc's had some piece of crap called the SiS 530 on the mother board and it was so slooowww.
