I said we talked about it. I didn't say we were "considering" it. Considering implies it's a possible active project being looked at.

Aye that is true, although I imagine that is the post he was referring to. ;)

I'd rather have sequels or new ip's built on the forever engine. :)

At heart the DNF is the UE (Unreal Engine).
(Maybe another organ than the heart would be a better description.)
I think when you license the UE, you do it for X amount of titles.
I wonder how it works when you change pretty much everything about the engine.
I'm sure you can't just call it your own and use it for other titles, but would you need to pay the full license again?
Actually now the whole Too Human thing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Too_Human#Development_history) comes to mind.
First of all, of course this has absolutely nothing to do with 3DR/DNF!
...but one of the issues in that case is an supposedly completely-ish rewritten UE as well.
Having learnt from experience, I expect to keep on wondering for quite some time to come. :)

OK, this thread is not about DNF, or Too Human. Heck, this entire FORUM is not about either of those games.
Truth is, the folks who worked on this project are going back to DNF now, and there aren't any plans at this time to do more ports like this. Could it happen? Oh sure, but there aren't any plans for the time being, no.
