Can someone help me.

I have a Genius Netmouse Pro mouse.

System Spec :

AMD Athlon 740 MHz (overclocked to 1GHz)
640 MB P133 RAM
ABIT Motherboard
Hercules Geforce Prophet II 3D Card
Soundblaster 1024+ Sound card
Windows 2000

Here's the problem....

Max Payne is fine. No crashes, no nothing. However, whenever I play Max Payne, the mouse messes up. Suddenly... :

I may find myself looking at the ceiling... I'll do a 90 degree turn... My weapons will start being cycled through Bullet time will be activated I'll suddenly be looking at the floor I'll turn around completely.

All without me selecting such movement / action.

Has anyone else had this problem ???

I have patched the game, but no joy ?

Should I just get a new mouse ? If so, can anyone recommend one that is good for games ? Cuz this one is pants !!!

I don't know how to fix your mouse problems, but I use a Logitech Optical wheel mouse (one with a cord...the cordless one bugged out on me).
Quite simply....it rocks my socks.
No problems with it in any game so far...and oh so precise! (perfect for multiplayer games like Counter-Strike).
If you need a new mouse, get this one. I think it was only $20 or $30.
