Trouble playing Max Payne

In Short... Everytime i encounter the first Bad guy in either the tutorial or the actual game, the game will just shut down and go to the desktop.

I have a Geforce 256 Graphics card.
700 MHz Athlon AMD
128 meg RAM

Please Please Help cause i want to play this game but cant.

Try the latest drivers for your card.

Try more ram.

See if there are any new drivers for your MOBO.

Try DX8.0a.

Other than that, unistall the game, then dont play with the game settings, let them AUTO set up and see how it runs.
