Is there a console?

Kay, I just bought this game yesterday and have to say.. KUDOS 3DR!! This game ROCKS!!!!! Barely got to bed last night.. lol..

Kay, now my inquiry.. I trolled this forum yesterday and found out how to enable screenies, is there an command line similar to open a console?? Or to display fps, is it a specific command in the target line on my shortcut as is the screenies?? I looked for a couple of hours before swallowing my pride and asking.. (Ready to go back and play)

There is, you have to starte the game with the argument -developer

For instance make a new shortcut and add the text "-developer" without the quotes. (If you don't know how to make a shortcut i can't help you, try thinking about it images/icons/smile.gif

In the game press f12 to get the console, seems that sometimes you can't type then you have to press f12 again

type help there to get a list of commands and page up and down to scroll the list

Thanx Branch images/icons/smile.gif I got it enabled, but it seems to run a lil odd with the console enabled.. With -developerkeys also.. So I disabled all but the screenshots.. (gotta make my wallpaper.. lol) Wonder if anyone else has odd problems with developerkeys enabled?? for one, whenever I crouch, it does odd things.. Changes camera views but only crouches briefly.. also, I lose control of Max when it does this for a bit.. I also get that weird "warning" screen, not sure what that means but it plays fine..

p.s., I'm not exactly totallly ignorant to this, just used to the style of consoles that Quake3 and Halflife games use.. I made my own buyscripts (from tutorials mind you) for Counter-Strike, so I'm well versed with the target line commands.. But your response and helpful attitude is greatly appreciated to say the least images/icons/grin.gif
