I cannot install MP. Everytime I try, the installation gives me an error message that says "Component transfer error". When I first inserted the CD into the drive, it took an awfully long time to read the cd.. Can it be a faulty CD drive? The CD is a Sony CDU 4011.
I have an AMD K6-2 450 with 160 Mb Ram. Also a Geforce 2, SB Live 1024, one 20 gig HD and one 6 Gb. Award Bios v 4.51, and a P5Vp-A+ board (I think?). OS is win98.
