Voodoo 3 question.

Now I know this is off topic but Im concerned. 3dfx's email service is gone and I would like to know, I have used my V3 2000 pci on both my pc's and i couldnt go into standby mode with out it getting stuck in standby and me having to flick the switch to shut it down. I disabled standby on both pc's cuz of this and it doesn't bug me but i am concerned. Is this bad or is it normal? Sorry to be off topic but i have an on topic question, where is the Max Payne demo? I need to try it out before buying it.

Have you tried the latest official drivers? Go here to get it: http://www.3dfx.com/downloads.htm
Go there and get the 1.07.

Go there and get the 1.08.00 beta.

Looks like the unofficial drivers were pulled down because a lot of people were slamming their server hard. The above link was to the driver set. I'll see if I could mirror it sometime later on. Here's a link that you should visit though: http://www.gamers-ammo.com/3dfxmod.shtml
