I believe if you drop your resolution down a bit or your graphic details and such it isn't laggy anymore.

I have no problems with MP at all. Too bad others have problems. MP ran perfect on my box. In fact, I can't remember the last time my machine crashed for any reason.

If you are a hardcore quakeplayer (or similar) with the mouse-sensitivity cranked to the max, you may feel the mouse movement in Max is somewhat laggy. I too experienced this, but by the end of the first level I was used to it... No biggie.

It responds fine on my computer. A laggy mouse is most likly not the game, but the hardware. I have a friend whose mouse has a 3 to 4 second delay when playing Half-Life, and I'm not talking about multiplayer.

I saw on some forum somewhere (I don't remember the name) that a few users were able to fix this problem by switching back to an earlier set of Detonator drivers.
The ppl I read about that had this problem were using the 14.xx leaked beta Detonator drivers. The lag was so bad that they were unable to complete simple jumps. images/icons/shocked.gif
I've used as high as the 14.10 leaked WHQL Detonator drivers without any issues.

Nope. It's a fact that the MP mouse-movement is somewhat laggy if you're used to Q3/UT repsonsiveness, even when you turn up MP's mouse sensitivity. Note that I'm talking about lag on less than 0.25sec, not several seconds.
btw; I've also experienced the extreme lag in halflife, although it's usually the keys that lag 2-3 secs... It was an easy thing to fix, but I can't remember the work-around anymore...
