View Full Version : Hmmm. What does the Max Payne patch actually do?

Just wandering, because I read someone say they have downloaded it, but I'm not sure what it does. Maybe it fix my sound problem?

On some systems Max has a problem reading the CD and it fixes that and it does one other thing that I can't remember. It doesn't fix any sound or video problem though. Hopefully Remedy will create a patch that fixes those sort of problems but for now there is no such patch.

If you run the patch, it tells you what it does before it installs. There was also a news story about it on our web site - go here, and scroll down to July 27th..
