Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 crashing the game

On WIN 98SE...
Everything is O.K. till I switch from options menu "Sound ON".Then when the game is going on (excluding intros, menus etc. in real action mode)few seconds and my PC is dead and ready for RESET buton.
I'm using the drivers from my Install CD - Creative SounBlaster Live! 5.1
My system:
CPU Celeron@852 100MHz, Video ATI Rage 128Pro 32MB SGRAM VIVO, MB Intel BX Acorp 6BX81, RAM 384MB PC 133, HDD 6,4 EX Quantum.The system is good cooled..
Without sound - NO PROBLEMS :-(

Have you tried lowering the sound hardware acceleration level?

Run DXDiag (Start/Run, type "dxdiag") then select Sound tab and lower the acceleration level.
