I mentioned earlier that i may start this. ive decided to do it.

my aim is to bring all the duke music up to par with modern games, while keeping the same content of the original music.

I currently have no hosting for this project (attempting to find some).
now, Ive noticed that alot of Duke Projects or Mods dont like to release much, so i thought ide start off with 3 songs that have been updated.

(these are in WMA format)

I dont think i can Single Handedly work on all the songs from atomic edition, as thats just a HELL of alot of music, so if anyone wants to get in on this, ide be grateful :D

(if you are interested, it would be a good idea to have Pro-Tools LE 7.4, as this is what i use.)

Constructive criticism encouraged!
(plain out rudeness will be ignored)

Love your new tracks:) They're awesome!!! Only sometimes, very rarely I think that some sounds would be better with different instruments;p

To bad your harddrive crashed :( Didn't you keep backups?

Oh btw,
I could send you some samples of the Mac version of the music, they were in AIFF format instead of midi so they sound different.

i cant keep backups of files that big right now.

and AIFF isnt good for me, i deal in Windows formats, and midi is the best. sorry.
I still have 4 finished tracks though.

don't push it too far man, you gotta take it easy, breath in and breath out, otherwise your head will grow too big

What I liked:
- Stalker (needs more bass in the background, though)
- Streets
- Waterworld

What I didn't like:
- Grabbag (sounds dull, needs more percussion, drums & "drive")

I think he means it needs a little bit more bass, which I would have to agree with.

And I can't say im to fond of the Grabbage either. :(

That's how I lost all the files for Total Meltdown :( Motherboard blew taking the hard drives. More fool me for backing up onto another hard drive in the computer :(

Recently my western digital 250gb raid edition 2 died. It was only 5 months old. I lost everything. Of course I had 5-year warranty so they replaced it with new one. But if raid edition start to break within 5 months use, then fear for the rest of hard disks.
