Part III, Chapter 6 bug

Hello,
In Part III, Chapter 6, there is a bug where when I try to go through the final door to the lobby (from the room with the two guys talking about the CIA), I lose controll of Max, he is quickly killed, and as he falls the graphics break apart. Is there any workaround for this?
