Although this will never survive onn the board, I feel fellow gamers should show their fustration with the makers of Max Payne at producing a game with so many blasted faults. Don't let them keep saying it is our faults- it is our hardware that's to blame. Show your support for the 'boycott of future Remedy games titles' by placing your comments below. Maybe with enough support they will bring out a super patch that will solve all the problems rather than fending us off with poor solutions that seem to blame our computers rather than their programming.

Put it this way.....I have a Comcraq puter, amdk6-2-450, 128ram and Voodoo 3 3000....and the game installed perfect in minutes and plays perfect, I've installed no patch...and right after installing I promptly went on a 6.5 hr gaming session w/ Max.....Dittos on the Thumbs up to Remedy.....Although I do feel for you.....

You MUST reallize that though companies try to test games on every conceivable system - it is impossible to try everything. The best that they can do is make sure it works well on a reasonable number of systems.

Everybody has different hardware and software configurations that make for a very different computer than the one they were testing it. What's in your version of Windows isn't in their version of Windows.

You want to complain when it won't work on common things - like the Intel 810 chipset (please see Star Trek: Armada).
