Hello, I have a problem when playing Mp, in the beginning, in the house of max, I cannot see the scenery, some parts appears black, and i can only see my character and the background of that scenery (a sky and a sunset).
That problem also appears in others chapters when i see a window or a grid, I think its due to a problem with transparences. I dont know.

My system configuration is:
PIII 733 mhz, 128 mb RAM, w98
My video card is Creative Savage4.

Thank u.

That's your reason. I think someone else (was it Joe3RDR?) experienced the same as you, with the same graphics card. It's time to update it. The GeForce2MX doesn't cost much these days, and it's a good card.

I used to have a Savage4. Never worked right with that card.

As for your Rage Pro, you may or may not be able to fix the problem. I checked out the forums at www.rage3d.com. (http://www.rage3d.com.) I saw a Max Payne thread on the Rage Pro forum, on which someone said they managed to get it to go with a Rage Mobility. They had to turn all the texture stuff to low and run 640x480x16. Another guy said that didn't do it for him. There is hope, however. You may also be able to find some better drivers via that site.
