I was wondering if anyone else is running more than one Operating System and has tried Max Payne on more than one. I've played MP on Windows ME & XP, and was surpised that it actually runs better on ME, considering all my other games run better on XP. On XP I noticed that the video seems to run a bit faster during gameplay and during cut-scenes. In the comic book style cut-scenes for example, on XP the video is always moving faster than the audio. The game always advances before parts of the audio finish. Just seems to take away from the game a bit when they aren't in sync with each other. Has anyone else had the same problem or noticed anything similar?

Actually it's not recommended on the package to play Max Payne on Windows XP. Max Payne is only guaranteed to be Windows 9x/ME and Windows 2000 compatible.

Max should run perfectly fine on WinXP.
The problem you're seeing may be because of driver immaturity or something like it, either in the audio drivers or graphics drivers. But it's not something we've heard about before.
The box doesn't say XP compatible because Max was released a few months before XP. But we've worked with Microsoft to make sure there should be no problems. We're even in the XP Game Catalog.
