Hi there,
I'm glad to see that there's still a dukommunity ;)
As I didn't followed the news since 2006, I'm now trying to update myself, so I tried the Dukonnector launcher. I like it, but...
I've just lose my time (and I was about to think that I lose my mind too!) with a config problem, and I finally pointed out the origine of it all : dukonnector and its user_profiles_enabled file.
I just wonder, why the hell does it create this file ? This is done automatically and hey, I wouldn't care the existence of this file on my drive if it wasn't a config mess generator !
The file, when it exists, is used by eduke32 to add the windows user profile path to its search path... The consequence : the duke3d.cfg file in my game directory is not used anymore, the file in the user profile directory is used instead (created to default if needed) !
Is there any way to desactivate the creation of this file by dukonnector ? I believe that most of the people owns its personnal computer and would prefer to manage only config file in only one directory :/

Edit : after some test, it appears that the file is created by dukonnector only if you tick the "I have duke3d.grp ONLY in this folder" option ("Duke Nukem 3D UseExternalGRPDir=True" in the Settings.ini). It's sure that it's a good idea to have two different duke3d.cfg for eduke32 and xduke, but I would prefer if it was a DUKE3D subdirectory :/
