Since I installed MP I have got a problem with DirectDraw. The game only ran 4 times since I got it a week ago. Mostly this error happened:

Filename: VMM(01) + 0000DC99
Error: 0E:0028:C000EC99

If start the game again without restarting the system, another error message says that I require a direct8 compatible graphics card.

But the day before MP ran as it should (I think).
I didn't change anything since yesterday, so I have no clue what went wrong.

I tried reinstalling directx in different languages (german, english) and tried different drivers for my graphics card.

The patch has been installed after the game crashed the first time.

Everything is ok with Direct3D and AGP, but something must be wrong with DirectDraw, because it crashes sometimes with the same errormessage as MP when I'm testing it with DxDiag.

So what should I do next? Or has anybody the same problem?

Configuration:
PIII 800
384 MB RAM
GeForce 2 MX 32 MB (Elsa) (Detonator 12.41)
Soundblaster Live! Value
Pioneer 32x DVD Rom
DirectX 8.0a + DirectPlay 8.1 BETA
Windows ME
