Game crashing

I have a pentium II with a voodoo 3 and 192MB of ram with my screen set to 800x600 16 bit color. Everytime I start the game it plays the introduction movie and then crashes to the desktop with the error message of not enough video memory. I have tried setting all my graphic settings to low but I still can't get it to run. If anyone could give me input on my problem it would be greatly appreciated.

see how much video memory you have! it requires 8megs to run

I ended up fixing it by downloading some unauthorized drivers for my card but thank you for your input.
