If you don't already know about this multy-format audio/video converter program, then you need to check this FREE software out today! I found this because I needed a program to convert videos of my mom, who just recently passed away. These vids were taken by my sister with her cell phone. I had her e-mail me these vids so I can make a VCD or DVD, and make copys for the family. But they are in 3GP format and can only be viewed with Quick Time. If you buy Quick Time Pro, they might be saved in another format but I'm really not sure. So anyway, at first I played them with the standard free QT player and then used CamStudio screen capture in order to save them as AVI files so that windows Movie Maker could be used to edit them. Well, this was a lot of work and the results kinda sucked but that was what I had to work with. Then I found FormatFactory. This has got to be one of the best free programs I have seen and did the conversion flawlessly and the quality is so good, you can't imagine that it's absolutly free, and clean! (no spyware) So If you've been looking for such a program, this is a must have!

all cleanI have to admit to that, their site looks like a 3yr old made it! My original download was from Download.com. When I ran the program and found how sweet it was, I went to the FormatFactory site from within the programs help tab and gave you the link to what looks like a Chinese site. It wasn't Confucious who said this (i don't think), but "Never judge a book by it's cover" so fits in this case. Hope everyone finds this as usefull as I have...
Happy Holidays! :)
