Hurcules 3D Prophet 4500

Hi there,

I just purchased MP and I won't run. Installs okay and can get to the opening sequance, but then I get a flashing screen.

I am running the following
Win2K Sp2
DirectX 8.0a
1.2Ghz Ahtlon
512MD Ram
Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 64MB

The DirectX diag runs okay.

Any suggestions?

sorry but i THINK the video card you are using may not be compatible!

Look at the help file, it will tell you which cards are compatible

The Hercules 3D Prophet is a Kyro II card; which is listed in the help as being supported...

I had the same problem with my card except its a Intel Chipset driver. check hw many megs it has AVALIBLE! it must have at least 8 to run the game

Would you believe that answer was to REMOVE some memory from the system !

According to tech support the Prophet 4500 64MB card does not work correcly when installed into a system with more then 256MB Ram... oh well...

Now that I am at 256MB everthing is working just great...

lol thats not true at all, ive got 640 mb of ram in here now and i had lockups as well....until i got the patch images/icons/shocked.gif
