Everytime I go from level 2 Chapter 1 to Chapter 2
I get the the following exception ' Invalid data read from an R_MemoryFile("part2_level2.ldb") ' and the game exits to desktop. I get this both in Win 98 SE and Win 2k Pro SP1 and with the 1.01 update. Even with all graphical effects and sound off.

I have a matrox G400 AGP card and Sonic Fury soundcard and a Asus A7v133A motherboard.

Anyone else have this problem? Any way to manually change levels in the game?

I guess we should have RTFMed ?

Hope this help us both !

Q: "I'm getting an R_Memoryfile error.
A: You may need to re-install the game. You can also try deleting the three x_level files from your Max Payne folder and copy them from the CD. If that doesn't help, disable DMA from your CD rom and re-install the game.
