Never, ever, ever, liked Slayer. Its very 16 year old girlish.
Then again, I think most metal is boring. DUNT DUNT DUNT FIGHTING DRAGONS YEAH DUNT DUNT DUNT

My writing style is way more coherent than Yattix'.

Sounds very much like Slayer no denying :) Hopefully there is something that reminds of their 'Show No Mercy' album, which is my favourite alongside 'Seasons in the Abyss'.

I would prefer that too, just as long as it's not anything post-Seasons!

The track i heard on sirius is more than likely the finished official promo track.
Some parts of the song sounded like hes still using that "scream from out of a can"effect.

I'm looking forward to this next album, especially after Christ Illusion, which was a nice return to form. Before that, I hadn't really enjoyed the previous decade or so of Slayer.
But they're back to their roots of late, and for real, unlike some other bands.

Im sort of a Slayer fan. Sort of as in, South of Heaven is by far their best album and Seasons has some good tracks. Most of their other stuff blows (yeah, even Reign in Blood).

I've got two words for you, Phayzon: Chemical warfare. C'mon, nobody can diss the Haunting the Chapel EP.

Ah! Forgot about that! Yes, I like that. Probably because they used part of it for Ghosts of War :p

I love Show no Mercy also. Most of the later stuff I heard is just too fast for me to get into. The first song linked too in the first post sounds almost identical to Angel of Death.

Well the past few albums were missing something...........dave lombardo.
Sure they survived without him,but imo dave completes them.
Btw Grip Inc is worth checking into.
