Help me - I'm so pissed off!

I have had this game for quite some time now, i used to play this game fine on this settings.

550 P3,
10.2 GB hd
Voodoo 4 pci
320 Mb SDRam

on 1024x768 32bit color and on medium detail.

I have just recenlty upgraded my whole computer to this:-

Asus A7A-266 motherboard
Asus v8200 GeForce3
1024 SD Ram
61 GB HD
Sound Blaster 5.1 live!
1.4 Ghz AMD Athlon

I had problems installing the game and conquerd them. Now my problem sux! i am running or trying to run the game on Hardware T&L, max detal on 32bit color 1024x768

I also use the command line maxpayne.exe -disable3dpreloads in order to stop some problems i get about 30 seconds into the intro and the game either pixilates forcing me to crash and restart or it will go staight to the desktop!

I am soooooooooooooo pissssssssedddddddddd off!! i love this game and i cant even run it on a super machine! **** **** **** ****!!

You tried the patch, right? I believe that fixes problems with rigs that have an Athlon/GF3 configuration.

I found out that the game runs bad if you have more than 512 MB of ram.
