You'll need a bit over 10 large USD to get both of these guys.

Here's one wack job that actually bought one. http://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41548&page=10

I went to a nerd convention last year (a real eye opener ), and there was a stall that had "Build Your Own Astromech Droid".

neat :D though not as cool as the lifesize terminator statue made of steel :D ive seen one in a local toystore once and it is beyond awesome :DThere was a toy store in Brisbane that had one. Yours for a mere $10,000 Australian. A bit hard to cram into my suitcase. :tinyted:

Ive got a few Star Wars mates in Brisy and a few mates who aren't into SW. I miss Brisbane and the Ocean. Brisbane's lucky, there's heaps of SW stuff going on there. If you've seen any dudes dressed up like StormTroopers running around Brisy, their my mates from another forum. :)

I don't live there, I've been there for holidays. 5 times in the last 3 years. :)

The nerd convention was in Brisbane, I was waiting for Triumph the insult dog to turn up. :D

The phrase "more money than sense" comes to mind.

Eh if it was like $1k I might consider one if I was fanatical enough. But I'm not. Cause then I may as well get Luke, Darth, Han, Leia, Chewie, Yoda...

Yeah 1k sounds doable. I dont know how the heck they want over 10k for these two. The droids are cool but Id be damned if i can afford this price.

I'd prefer an Iron Man costume (that looks as cool as that) to an Iron Man statue. Owning the costume would even motivate me to learn green screen techniques, wire rotoscoping and particle effects software to put it to good use, but a statue would only take up valuable room.
