I've been playing with Poladroid a lot lately. It's an application that lets you generate Polaroid-style pictures from your digital photos. It does a great job, and it's free!

I like it because I don't have to spend a fortune on Polaroid film.

And you would favour such pictures over wide-aspect borderless ones because???

Where did I say I favored them? If I favored them, I'd own a Polaroid camera instead of a dSLR.

uh, I guess you can print them and send them to someone and have them tell you to get with it, polaroids are so 70's....

I guess you people have never heard of something being made purely for amusement, which is interesting, since this is a video game-centric forum.

You guys don't understand. Polaroids used to be COOL.

In the old days, you shot a roll of film, sent it in to be developed and then waited (usually several days) to get your prints back. With a Polaroid camera, you could snap a shot and the picture would actually develop in your hand (whoa!). That was all kinds of awesome back then.

/Used to tie onions to our belts, too.

If you're interested in photography, you might be interested in Polaroids. Just a suggestion.

I thought they stopped making Polaroids. Which is kinda sad cause the pictures looked sexy.
