Missing out

Hey guys, I've been out of the loop on PC gaming for the past 5 years or so. I know, it's been tragic. :doh:

I just ordered a new machine (Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz) and am looking for suggestions on games that I've missed out on. I'm partial to FPS games at the moment. I just ordered Left 4 Dead, and will prolly order Call of Duty 4 & 5.

So, any suggestions?

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, if you haven't played that, although you may just want to wait for Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, as it will contain an updated version of the original.

Also, Crysis and Crysis: Warhead.

If you like RTSs any, get the Supreme Commander/Forged Alliance 2 game set. Well worth the money. Awesome graphics, well thought out story, fun to play.

I also second the HL2 Orange Box. And Fallout 3. Oh, and pick up Prey while you're at it.

These. Crysis is still the best looking game out there IMO and the gameplay is really as fun as you make it. STALKER is another solid choice, and I would wait the extra month or whatever for the remake of Riddick, but definitely pick it up, that game is going to be shit hot.

I have UT3, and while it is good & has some cool new stuff, I think UT2K4 is better.

I second that but want to add that there is this rather big bonus pack coming out that might make it more attractive. Not visually, though. :)
