Detonator XP v21.81 Windows 95/98/Me

Has anybody installed these new drivers yet? Do they improve MP. Any feed back regading these new drivers would be appreciated.

I installed them a couple of hours ago. But I can't tell whether they solved my problem (the one where the demo wouldn't go past the setup screen) or not, since I also used that DirectSound fix right before I changed drivers.

Hi all,yes i just tryed them & i like them so far,my 3dmark 2001 went from 4728 to 5345 & max paine has never run so smooth,i gained about 40fps,it is now avg.70fps to 110fps, where before it avg.about 30fps to 70fps & Quake3 i gained about 25fps,Nascar4 about 20fps & everything just looks better,games,desktop,internet etc.,the colors are better & everything is just clearer,oh btw i am running a gforce3,p3,1000mhz,512sdram!!!

Those Detonator 4 drivers work good only for Geforce 3 owners, for us Geforce 2 owners, it's just as good as 12.90 or maybe slightly better. I didn't even notice any difference with my Geforce2 MX

I just upgraded to the newest Nvidia drivers but can't really tell what version they are when I check to see if it worked. The antiailiasing control is different, but the version says 4.12.01.667 is that the right one for v. 21.81? version 4.12.01 is the same as the 12.41 drivers.

i lost about 200 3dmarks when going from the 7.58's to the 21.81's. mp is also noticibly laggier.

I have installed the Detonator 4 drivers and they help me a LOT!!!

I can now run it on very playable 1024 x 768x32 High Details at 40-50fps on 12.xx I got like 20fps

I can even turn on Quincunx Antialiasing and have it run better then before and the game looks mighty sweet!!!
