Don't take this post wrong, MP is a great game. It is a game that you get wrapped up in and the story is superb, but... it has no REPLAY VALUE. I don't call unlocking harder difficulty levels replayability. Give me some multiplayer!! I know the creators said they didn't wanna take away from the single player exp. by add multiplayer. But I've had this game for like 3 days and now im through! So... here's my idea, an x-pac with multiplayer, no new levels just let the players play on existing maps. Just disable bullet time during multi play bacause im not sure it would work out. Sound like a good idea to me... comments?

Oh yea, maybe 1 or 2 new weapons and the abilty to play as bosses or the common thugs during the multi play so there arent like 6 Max's running around capping each other images/icons/smile.gif .

Well I should have looked down the page before posting this, i just saw a thread like 50 replies long below this one about the same thing. I guess I'll reply to that post

Well Max Payne is a great game...and let it stay that way with no multiplayer mode or whatsoever. Yes it doesn't have that good replay value...but some mods like KUNG_Fu and that FPS mode one gives back *some* replay value.
I remember Dues Ex getting a MP upgrade...but nothing changed and it was a complete waste of time for the developers!

But maybe in Max Payne 2...

lets have a Max Payne game designed with multiplayer from the ground up rather than a singleplayer game with multiplayer added on.

Try some mods, especially the Kung Fu mod.

It's a shame that Max Payne has linear levels and no replay value. It was fun, but now it's really boring. images/icons/frown.gif
