After 4 times of saving or a several times of loading my system hangs up with a blue screen (If windows is the answer, it must have been a very bad question!)
I have tried
patch 1.01
reInstall
new drivers (nvidia 12.90)
NoCD-Patch
NoSound

nothing with success. My system is the following:

Intel PIII 1GHz
Asus CUV266
Asus V7700 32MB AGP
640MB DDR-Ram 266MHz
Adaptec 39160
Seagate X15
SoundBlaster 128 PCI
3Com 3C905B-TX
Hauppauge Win/TV PCI
Plextor UltraPlex 40x (Great! CD is not readable!)
Plextor PlexWriter 12/10/32 S (Guess...)
Pioneer DVD 16x (Uff, CD works here... **** copyprotection)

Any suggestions?

try running the dxdiag. Start>run>dxdaig

go to the sound tab and turn down sound hard ware acceleration to nothing. That might work. it did for me

He says something like:

Kmod made an unauthorized ram-page access.. bla bla

Nearly a message filling the whole screen. After that I have to reboot..

I´ve already tried the direct X settings.. but thx.

BTW The Ram is tested by several programs and seems to be ok.. Its kingston Ram.. should be good quality...
