My Problems are the following.
During the Comic Sections of the game there is VERY HEAVY sound distortion. It sounds as if there is an mechanical Gate used on the sound. I have to Stop the sound playback during the comic sections and just read the text. but I still have some background distortion anyways on those sections.
During the cut scenes I also have some Sound Distortion but it isn't half as bad as during the comic scenes.
Also I have had a few MAJOR crashes (besides the lock ups)
I've had 2 Memory Parity Error Crashes and one Crash that said Unable to Write to Device AUX.
then there are also the lockups that occur randomly throughout the game. I do not have the exit Lockups and death lockups that people were talking bout thou.
My Info is
Windows 98se
Mother Board: Soyo 6VBA 133 with the VIA chipset.
P3 600EB
512MB Crucial 133Mhz ECC ram (4 - 128Mb Sticks)
SoundBlaster Live Gamer (non 5.1)
ATI Radeon 32MB DDR
Also a 3Com Network Card is installed Besides 2 Hard drives and 1 cd rom and 1 cd burner.

I have also turned down my acceleration to none. Doesnt work.
Tried the DX8 Bug Fix.. Doesnt Work
Updated Video, Sound, and Motherboard Drivers
Doesnt Work.
I've adjusted all the sound options doenst work.
I've even changed IRQ's for the soundcard Doesnt work.
Any ideas?

ok.. i kinda fixed it..
i adjusted the hardware accel. to the 2nd one from the top.. and now it the sound distortion is gone But this only worked once. Next time i started the game it was Distored again..
game hasent crashed or frozen in a while. but hte sound is still messed.. ANYONE got ANY ideas?
