Please Help/Freezing Problems

Well I was playing Max Payne, loving the slow motion matrix affects, then bam it freezes! I was thinking it was only a temp problem, but no, every time I play the game it freezes in about 5 minutes of playing the game. So im hoping one of u geniuses can solve my problem, the freezing. Here are my specs:

Pentium 4 1.4 GHz
384 mb rdram
Geforce 3 made by PNY
Generic sound card
Running Win2k

I didn’t put the rest of the specs because I didn’t think they where important, ie: hd space. Keep in mind I have the latest video and sound drivers, latest version of directx for win2k, and max payne 1.01. THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!

The "Read Me" has some info about the problem your having. Different setting adjustments. My system would lock up when I was exiting Max Payne. All I needed to do was change some setting and everything was fine. Read the "Read Me" then check the technical support link and choose Max Payne and read the various updates that relate to your problem.

Could you tell me wht it was you did? Becuase I'm having the same problem, and I read the read-me, but didnt see anything about it
