Voodoo5 and game only runs in hardware T&L witch isnt available on 3dfx cards?

this game is finally running great except for the occasional lock up while saving or loading (though i do have to defrag my harddrive after each lockup or i get random lockups while playing)
The wierd thing though is that i have to run the game in hardware t&l witch is not available on voodoo cards.
After setting it to hardware t&l i was also able to set all the options to high as well as use 4xfsaa and the game runs great as long as i just let it auto save hehe so all you voodoo users out there try this if you have not already

I this is after changing my agp arpeture size to 256 and installing my newest chipset drivers for my mobo so it might be a combination of them all but the game froze randomly at medium settings or while loading boards while using software t&l

If you have a Pentium III, the Voodoo 3 3000 will emulate hardware T&L using the SSI instructions in the Pentium CPU (in DirectX).

Make sure you have the latest DirectX (8.0) drivers. Also, check out these 3dfx drivers from XPentor. (http://www.geocities.com/xpentor/xpentor.html) They're based on the 1.07 reference drivers and they add a LOT of new options to your Control panel. I've used them for a couple of weeks now and they seem pretty stable.
