I just noticed this shit while browsing dx forums, its hilarious the fact that after 3 years (even more i think) of the buggy DukesterX 2.0 beta release he couldnt fix it yet. Isntead he releases a shit like that, this shit is the same as 1.5.1 but with a new logo and with a working master server. Ok it got a feature that tell you if the ports are open, but still i preffer YANG. Im posting this just for info, i recommend people to stay in yang and dont waste their time with this.
If youre curious enough... http://forums.dukesterx.net/dload.php?action=category&cat_id=2
Im not sure if i posted in the right place, but i think its better to put all the crap in the Duke Nukem part and post all non-noob topics at Modifications forum.

Haha, does anyone even care that he released it? You can't just flake out on making something decent and then come back years later and expect anyone to give a shit when you release the same old crappy VB app again. Yay for YANG.

He needs to add Eduke32 to the list of ports.

Well, if youre really interested in using this shit with eduke32 you can use the old wrapper TX did years ago :p

Well, most chances are that DX 1.6 has been released mainly in order to fix the issue of the master server not working in the old Lycos host any more, so people can come back and play.
Another guess may be some level of motivation, as a result of people leaving Dukester X and moving towards alternatives.

Shouldn't be needed anymore... the latest versions of EDuke32 should just work when named duke3d.exe or duke3d_w32.exe.

This is correct. But people should be using YANG any how. ;)
