Hmm the usuals:

Rambo, Robocop, Evil Dead, Star Wars, Terminator, as well as Austin Powers, the "Clerks" stuff (best way I can describe it), Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Rush Hour, and I like teh newer Batman stuff...

dunno, most of the stuff you guys are describing peaked and then successive movies led to suckdom. Some recover, most have not.

Favorite? Well I guess I'll have to say "The Matrix". The series that made people like bullet time. And you weren't just thrown the plot to chew on, you had to do some thinking to piece it together. To this day I still notice new stuff every time I watch the series.
