Quits when I try to load a map

Max Payne quits whenevr I try to load a new map. The funny thing is that it works on the tutorial. It is also a little choppy, but the demo was not choppy.

My specs are:
AMD Athlon 650mhz
Vision Tek GeForce 3 64mb AGP
192 PC100 megs of ram
Yamaha 724 PCI 32bit 3D Softsynth
Abit mobo
