what's with the icky frame rates for max payne with windowsXP? i was told that installing the catalyst drivers for my Radeon 8500 would help it somewhat, and it didn't. i also have the latest update of max payne installed. i only have the resolution set at 1024x768x32.

My Framerates are fine with XP + GF3 Ti200

My Settings

Res: 1024x768
Colour: 32 bit
Settings: High
Texture Filter: Antisytropic
AA: 4x
Fogging: On
Screen Buffers: Triple

Guys, how do you see what your framerate is in Max?

Go int othe properties of the Max Payne icon on your desktop and right click it. In the target box add -developer to the end of it (if it come sup with an error, add press and a space before typing in -developer
Then in game you can press F11 to get the fps and other things.
