i don't think it would affect the game's speed.
make sure that u start with the developer mode after changing the details from the "properties" of Max Payne shortcut.

um, when i start the game in developer mode, it makes it run slower and choppier. is that normal? i didn't change any of the game settings to higher detail or anything like that, it just runs slower images/icons/frown.gif images/icons/confused.gif
