I just came across this site today. I dont play any game other then PC games ofcourse, so it is useless for me, but I though this site may be of interest to console gamers who want to try a game out before you buy it, or may be simply cant afford all the latest coming out games. So check this site out

http://www.gamefly.com/

Please note, I am not affiliated or any way associated with gamefly in any way, nor do I get a commission to recommend this site here. I posted the link because I thought some console gamers may like their scheme. I also dont know whether they are a good or dodgy company. So you make your own decisions ;).

They've been advertising on TV for years... Anyway, I don't play enough games to justify subscribing to this, but I've bought several used for extremely cheap there (12 dollars for Assassin's Creed!), so it's pretty great for that.

I think a lot of game reviewers get free subscriptions to GameFly and recommend it.

Hey, new here but saw this and figured I'd add my two cents since I've been using gamefly for a while now.

They're pretty great for console game rentals and will save you a fortune. I rarely find a game anymore that I feel good about shelling out $60 for so gamefly is a nice alternative and like Daveman mentioned, their used game deals are pretty great.

All in all I've probably cycled through a good 100 games in the time I've had gamefly (bout a year and a half). I would have spent thousands to do that if I was buying games but as it stands, a year and a half of gamefly has only put me back a few hundred bucks. The way I see it, every time you send back a craptastic game you've essentially paid for the subscription a few times over. It's a no brainer for anyone who wants to play a good variety of games but doesn't want to shell out the cash to do it.
