View Full Version : Will Max Payne run on a
I already have MP running on a p3 500mhz, 128 mb, geforce2 32mb ddr.
But now I want to buy a p4 1.7ghz.
So my question: will MP run on a p4? Does it support p4?
thx

Don't buy a P4!!! They're not worth it! Get an Athlon. The P4's don't run as well, they require (and I do mean require) really expensive memory. In tests, the Athlon 1.4 GHz outperformed the P4 1.7 GHz. Not only that, but the processor itself is a lot cheaper. And to answer your questions, yes it will run on your current system, and yes it will run on a P4.

I have a 333MHz /IBM processor (Please don't laugh)
and it states that you need 450MHz to run Max.
Is this because the 450+ has special commands that make the software not run on anything lower or is this the minimun recomended for speed. If I had more memory/better graphics card could it run on something less than a 450?
so i can better buy a CPU AMD thunderbird 1400 mhz (266fsb)then a p4?
