I've lurked at these here forums from the very beginning, and I remember when a certain insane poster by the name of Commander Khaine made a series of comics about the forums. I found them on an old hard drive of mine. Here's something to chuckle at before the lights go out:

Haha wow. Didn't Commander Khaine end up being banned at some point for doing something real dumb, god I can't remember all this stuff and that sucks.

Looking through what I have, I have just the comics w/o the blue headers, and I don't have that last one at all.

"\Web Crap\3DRealms Community" = 4.68 GB, 3698 files, 86 folders.

Some of those folders are the files that go with saved pages/threads.

Thats a lot of stuff alright. Do you have any of those epic battles between Drazula and Distorted Reality/ Max Diablos? I would love to read some of that stuff again, that's when I started becoming a daily forum reader. Probably was around late 2001 early 2002 in the wake of the trailer.

I would've had to be "Postwhore Proctologist" to save copies of the CS threads, though.

I never minded CS, but he seemed to bring out the worst in everyone else.

It would get way too many, followed by a lot of "Why the hell did I bother downloading this crap?" posts.

I'm actually thinking of deleting a lot of my old stuff: I now have 300 GB of disk usage (counting the OS, installed programs, and data/downloads/music/crap like this) and need to start trimming it down.
