Game locks up

I had reached the last of Part 2 without any trouble as far as problems with the way the game was running when it started to occasionaly lock up. When I started on Part 3, it would lock up sooner and sooner until it finally locked up in the opening movie scene in Chapter 3 and I could no longer play the game. I contacted game support and they never got back to me. I even started a new game this morning and it locked up 5 minutes in. I have downloaded the 1.01 patch but I didn't expect it to help and it didn't. Can anyone out there help me?

I had some similar problems. The help desk in the UK suggested that I download the latest drivers for my sound and video cards. I found new drivers on line on the respective web sites which were suitable for use with Direct X 8 and since then everything has worked fine.

Everytime I exit the game, the game freezes, is there anyway to fix this?
