Need help - got this error

HELP!! Exception: Invalid data read from an R_MemoryFile ("part1_level2.ldb")

Running MP on:

-Windows 2000 SP2
-ASUS A7V133
-AMD Thunderbird 1.4Ghz
-896MB PC133 SDRAM
-ATI Rage 128 (Driver Release Version D6.40-CD20C-W2K)
-Game installed on an IBM Deskstar 30GB SCSI drive
-DirectX 8 installed

I can play all of part 1 chapter 1 and part 1 chapter 2. After exiting the subway scenario, chapter 3 begins... on the first splash screen for chapter 3, I get this error dialog box:

Invalid data read from an R_MemoryFile ("part1_level2.ldb")
