Can't open door - thug behind it

In Chapter Five: In the Land of the Blind, after the room with all the cameras, there is a door that I'm supposed to go through. First hallway on the left. Has a green keypad. If I try to open it, the door won't open, but i can see the barrel of a thugs gun. I've tried backing up and letting him through, but he's stuck. I've tried loading an earlier game, and it's still there. I think that this is going to require a look at by the developer. In the meantime, if someone had a save game just after that, I would appreciate it. graemlins/hhg.gif

Hey pal..if you want saved game files go to www.cheatcc.com (http://www.cheatcc.com) and they have saved game files in the PC section..hope everything works out for ya.

Try swinging the baseball bat through the door. From what I've seen, the baseball bat can swing right through some doors. images/icons/smile.gif Hopefully it will work with this one.

Use noclip, stick the barrel of your shotgun slightly through the door, and pump him full of lead.

I had the same problem once before, out of the 8 times I've played through Max Payne.

Sorry guys, I've tried all of those. I can't clip through the wall for some reason. I know that I'm using the cheat codes correctly, because I can god mode. 'noclip' isn't doing it. That site also contains no save games for Max Payne either.

Maybe a level selector mod can get you thru that part....Sounds like you've tried everything else..
It will at least get you to thge begining of the level just after the spot your at....(just a thought)

when using the no clip cheat, you can only walk through doors, not walls.
