Access Violation - no RTTI data!

Like a lot of you guys i also experience the random crashes to my desktop. Sometimes the game states an error message: Exception, Access violation - no RTTI data! Closing....

Anyone experienced this before?
I've tried everything posted on this forum to try and fix the exit to desktop, but nothing seems to work!

I sure hope those guys from Remedy and 3d Realms find this problem!

I have no idea why you could be getting that error and where it comes from. Basically it's a "Run Time Type Identification" C++ error.

Do you have any suspicious programming languages or beta software in your system? Is your PATH environment variable having any exotic paths in it? (So the game would be using some beta/wrong Microsoft dll's which usually are loaded from the game root folder?)

I have the same problem with MP, also it is giving an error about e2mfc.dll. I tried almost everything that i read on this forum but still i have a non-working copy of MP. I hope you can fix it.

No i have done nothing like the things listed above (no beta progs etc). The game just keeps crashing with the RTTI data error (not always but in most cases this is the error message i get). Sometimes i don't even get an error message at all.

I've also mailed my dxdiag to Petri, so you guys have as much info as possible.

Is there anyone with the same problem? Please help me!!
